The Galaxy S Plus may not be the most widely embraced device among the Galaxy S trio, but it certainly has its dedicated fan base. It appeals to users seeking a larger Galaxy S screen without the need to pay extra for Ultra features they might not utilize. Today, we're getting acquainted with the Galaxy S24+, marking its triumphant return to prominence with a Quad HD display!
Undoubtedly, this marks the most significant change since the Galaxy S21 series! The Galaxy S24+ reintroduces the 1440p OLED display last seen on the Galaxy S20+ in 2020. The display is nothing short of premium - a 6.7-inch LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen boasting 513ppi, a dynamic refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+, and an impressive peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.
A quick note: Our review focuses on the Exynos model of the Galaxy S24+.
The revamped design takes the spotlight as the next notable upgrade - the aluminum frame is now sturdier, flatter, and entirely matte! This alteration gives the Galaxy S24+ a fresh appearance and a renewed tactile feel.
Similar to the Galaxy S24, the hardware of the S24+ varies depending on the market. The global models feature the Exynos 2400 chip with a 10-core CPU and new AMD graphics, while the models in the US, Canada, and China run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The S24+ is offered in 256GB and 512GB variants, both equipped with UFS 4.0 chips and 12GB of RAM.

The camera setup mirrors that of the Galaxy S24, S23+, and S23, featuring three rear cameras - a 50MP OIS primary, a 10MP 3x telephoto, and a 12MP ultrawide. The front camera is a 12MP shooter with autofocus and 4K recording capabilities.
Additional specs for the Galaxy S24+ include Ultra Wideband (UWB) support and a larger 4,900mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy S24+
The Galaxy S24+ comes packaged in a slim black box, including a USB-C cable and a SIM ejection tool. For those who pre-ordered, additional items may include a 25W power adapter, a 15W charger pad, and a clear case, though these extras may vary by market.
The cable provided in the packaging of the Galaxy S24 series retail boxes is officially designated with a rating of 3A or up to 25W. Consequently, if you happen to purchase a 45W charger or a similar high-capacity charger that lacks a suitable cable, you will have to acquire a compatible cable separately to fully experience charging speeds exceeding 25W.
