Realme partners with cinematographer Claudio Miranda on 12 Pro series

The focus of the Realme 12 Pro appears to revolve around notable collaborations, and this time, it involves Oscar-winning cinematographer Claudio Miranda, following a previous partnership with a luxury watchmaker.

Realme has indicated that Miranda's role will be to "enhance the image tuning of the Realme 12 Pro series," although the specific details of this collaboration remain undisclosed.

Claudio Miranda, renowned for his cinematography in acclaimed films such as Oblivion, Tron: Legacy, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Life of Pi, and the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick, holds an Oscar for Best Cinematography.

The Realme 12 Pro positions itself as a camera-centric midrange device, featuring Sony's IMX890 for the main camera and the half-inch (1/2") OV64B for the 3x periscope zoom—an element shared with the OnePlus 12, OnePlus Open, and Oppo's Find N3. The phone boasts a 6.7-inch FullHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, offering up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
