Featured Oppo Android Battery Test Update
We have been rigorously testing the Oppo Find X7 Ultra in our office and have concluded its battery life evaluation. While our comprehensive review is still in progress, we wanted to share the endurance results with you as we continue working on the remaining tests.
Equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, constructed on a purportedly more efficient 4nm node than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra boasts a substantial 5,000mAh battery. Although a 5,400mAh unit, as found in the OnePlus 12, might have been preferable, the Find X7 Ultra carries a weighty profile at 221g. Thus, the chosen capacity appears to strike a good balance.
In our active use assessment, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra achieved a commendable score of 12:47 hours. This score is derived from nearly 28 hours of talk time, an impressive 16:45 hours of video playback, and nearly 13 hours of browsing. The only aspect that falls short of expectations is gaming, where the Find X7 Ultra lasted 6 hours and 42 minutes on a single charge. This is almost two hours less than other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phones, such as the iQOO 12, and over two hours less than the vivo X100 Pro, although the vivo enjoys a 400mAh advantage in battery capacity.
